2022 Presidents Letter

11/20/2022 – It has been a great privilege to serve as the Society President for the past year.  During this period, the group has slowly recovered from the organizational trauma  and negative social impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic.  We lost a number of former members and would welcome their return along with new members that share our interest in Archaeology.

We have put together a number of monthly presentations encompassing a wide range of topics.  All presentations, dates and times are advertised on the newly revised website (sfarchaeology.org).  Presentations are offered free to existing members and open to the public for a nominal contribution for five dollars a participant.  The meetings are normally held at the Old Pecos Trail Café and a large number of  Society members and guests  meet at 5:00 PM prior to the formal presentation at 7:00PM to enjoy a delicious meal before the event.

The meetings have been paused for the month of December to accommodate the holidays and will resume in January.  Please refer to the website as new activities will be added.

I urge current members to continue to participate, and non-members to attend the upcoming events.  All are welcome.
